This includes:Managing acute general medical inpatients, including assessment, investigation, and complex discharge planningLeading and mentoring a large team of junior doctors in a fast-paced environmentContributing to Geriatric services across Acute Care of the Elderly (ACE), Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM), and Interim Care wardsSupporting specialised areas such as orthogeriatrics, falls prevention, and remote consultation servicesPlaying a key role in improving outcomes for Indigenous communities across the Northern TerritoryRequirementsYou must be eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA and hold:Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in General and/or Geriatric Medicine, OREquivalent overseas specialist qualifications (e.g. CCT (UK), CSCST (Ireland), ABIM Board Certification (USA), RCPSC (Canada), or Vocational Registration in NZ)The LocationDarwin is a truly unique and vibrant capital, offering the perfect blend of professional opportunity and relaxed tropical living.
