Huon is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Fish Production Technical Officer to support the delivery of fish performance and health improvement initiatives across our freshwater and marine sites. This hands-on role is vital to ensuring operational excellence through practical support, accurate record keeping, and effective coordination.

**The role**

Working closely with farm managers, technical teams, and external partners, this role will help drive continuous improvement and contribute directly to Huon's fish production objectives. Responsibilities include:

- Coordinating fish production activities and projects, ensuring tasks are scheduled, tracked, and delivered on time and within budget
- Building strong relationships and maintaining clear and timely communication with internal teams, suppliers and external stakeholders
- Keeping accurate records of meetings, logs and basic data to support reporting and analysis, providing regular updates to management on project status, productivity and potential risks
- Ensuring compliance with biosecurity, environmental and animal welfare regulations
- Attending farm sites to support operational activities, field days, and trials, including data collection and practical tasks

This is a fulltime opportunity based in our Hobart Office with regular travel to sites required.
