One of our valued clients is an International Leader in the Medical Devices Industry. With offices around Australia they are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join their team at Ultimo for this 6 months+ role.

**Skills & Experience**
In order to be considered for this position you will need/have:

- Relevant qualifications in Industrial relations, Law, Commerce
- 1-2 years of HR or Employee relations experience withing Australia and/or New Zealand
- Previous demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Fair Work Act, National employment standards and Modern award system
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to undertake self-directed research
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Advising and managing employee relations cases, including in relation to disciplinary matters, performance management and grievances
- Reviewing and updating employee relations policies to ensure compliance and alignment with legislative changes
- Drafting and reviewing employment documentation
- Assist with workplace investigations for a range of matters
- Supporting employee and labour relations project work including in relation to risk management, compliance and process improvement
