**Job Overview**
The Australian Institute of Company Directors is seeking a skilled professional to join its Member Engagement Team as a
Member Acquisition Adviser
. This exciting opportunity involves engaging with prospective members to understand their governance, professional development, and directorship goals.
In this role, you will be responsible for applying your customer focus to convey how the AICD offering of membership, products, programs, and services can best support prospective members in achieving their professional aspirations. Your expertise in lead conversion while building relationships and connections is key.
As a trusted advisor, you will be provided with indepth onboarding and supportive training as well as ongoing coaching to ensure your success in this position.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Proactively identifying member needs and pathways for growth to achieve their professional aspirations
Researching and managing leads
Managing business development and engagement opportunities to achieve membership growth
Determining and cross-selling appropriate products and services to meet members' needs, participating in targeted campaigns when required
Identifying members at risk and taking appropriate action
Resolving member issues raised
Providing insightful statistics and data reports
Ensuring accurate and detailed CRM management

Experience working in a sales, customer service, or education environment
Demonstrated ability in building credibility and trusted partnerships
The ability to influence and communicate with C&D-level executives
Proven track record of increasing revenue through the conversion of leads
Soft selling skills
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
CRM data management and MS Office experience
An ability to collaborate and work as a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Sound listening and presentation skills
