**The Role**
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Cleaning Site Supervisor to oversee our cleaning operations within a busy industrial distribution centre, including temperature-controlled environments (fridge and freezer storage). You will supervise a team of 6-8 cleaning staff, ensuring all cleaning standards and safety protocols are met. The role requires direct reporting to the AFS management team and regular communication with the client representative.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise, coordinate, and support a team of 6-8 cleaning staff to deliver high standards of cleanliness across all areas, including temperature-controlled rooms.
- Maintain cleaning schedules, allocate tasks, and monitor completion and quality of work.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards, rectifying issues as needed.
- Train, mentor, and onboard new cleaning staff, ensuring adherence to company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Act as the main point of contact for both AFS management and the client representative, providing timely updates and reports.
- Ensure all health and safety legislation is followed, particularly in cold storage environments.
- Manage inventory and procurement of cleaning supplies, minimising wastage.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, or incidents promptly to management and the client.
- Assist with rostering, leave management, and performance reviews.

**About You**
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in an industrial or commercial cleaning environment (cold storage/warehouse experience highly regarded).
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with both staff and clients.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety practices, especially in temperature-controlled environments.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and deliver consistent, high-quality results with mínimal supervision.
- Willingness to work in cold environments (fridge and freezer storage).
- National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander persons are encouraged to apply.
