We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Event & Logistics Specialist to join our team. This role involves a blend of warehouse functions, focusing on pre-event preparation plus Event setups and pack downs for multiple events.

Splash Events specialises in creating visually stunning weddings, epic theme parties, and grand corporate events across the Sunshine Coast.

This is an important role in the flow of operations in the company. You will be responsible for the preparation of furniture & décor for events, including packing, cleaning and preparing all items to go out in premium condition.

**Responsibilities**:

- Loading and organising furniture and equipment into trucks and large vans, and unloading at various locations
- Accurately selecting furniture, decor, and event materials to fulfill event packing order requests
- Deliveries and collections of event items to various locations and other companies using large vans
- Ensuring all equipment meets satisfactory Hire standards and is properly maintained, cleaned, stored, and transported
- Onsite setup of furniture, using ladders to set up lighting, power tools to assemble items on-site, and placing decor as instructed
- Assisting in the execution of event designs under the guidance of experienced event stylists and planners
- Performing pack-down tasks post-event, often late at nights
- Assisting with inventory management, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular stock checks, and updating inventory records
- Providing support for general warehouse duties, such as receiving deliveries, organising storage areas, and maintaining equipment
- Stock maintenance, including painting and fixing of stock

**The successful applicant will**:

- Preferably have previous experience in the events industry or warehouse operations
- Must have a high level of physical fitness to handle the demands of event setup and pack down
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work on weekends
- Must hold a QLD license for deliveries & pickups in large vans or trucks
- Experience operating a walkie stacker is an advantage or willingness to learn
- Handy with tools and repairs is an advantage
- Must be well-presented

**Salary**: $29.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
