Dispensary Pharmacist - Slade Pharmacy, Epworth Maternity HospitalPharmacy Melbourne Contract or Temp Slade PharmacyPharmacy Melbourne Contract or Temp Slade PharmacyAbout the OpportunitySlade Pharmacy at Epworth Maternity Hospital is seeking apart-time Dispensary Pharmacistto join our team for a13-month maternity leave cover, workingevery Friday from 8am to 6pm.In this role, you'll contribute to the smooth operation of our retail pharmacy located within the hospital, providing medication and support services to patients, carers, and staff.
You'll be part of a welcoming and professional team committed to delivering high-quality pharmacy care.Key ResponsibilitiesDispense and supply medications and pharmacy productsCoordinate medication requirements for patients, including discharges and outpatient needsProvide excellent customer service to patients, carers, and hospital staffAttend to front-of-shop duties and support the day-to-day operations of the dispensaryEducate customers on medication use, health promotion, and general pharmacy queriesSupport patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employeesEducate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicinesPrepare and package medications in dosage as necessary.Attend the front shop to ensure the smooth running of the pharmacy.Prepare and package medications as requiredParticipate in other dispensary duties as neededAbout YouYou're a registered pharmacist who enjoys working in a retail pharmacy environment.

You work well independently and as part of a team.Eligibility RequirementsCurrent AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist with no restrictions on practice.Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)Australian working rights, valid for at least 13-months from time of employment.Have time management, communication and teamwork skillsExcellent communication and time management skillsAbility to work autonomously and multitaskRetail pharmacy experience is welcomed but not essentialAbout Slade PharmacyEstablished as a family business in 1965, Slade Pharmacy is underpinned by 60 years' of pharmacy experience.
