Nuclear Medicine Technologist Role
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. This role involves performing a wide range of Nuclear Medicine and PET examinations, maintaining imaging equipment through rigorous quality control procedures, and ensuring all administrative and clinical tasks are completed to the highest standard.
The successful candidate will possess a diploma or degree in Applied Science (Medical Radiation Technology) Nuclear Medicine or equivalent qualifications recognized by the accreditation board of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine (ANZSNM). They will also be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) for Medical Radiation Practitioner Registration in Nuclear Medicine Practice.
Our ideal candidate will have good understanding of practical skills in Nuclear Medicine procedures and experience in complex problem solving and decision making. They will demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills and excellent patient care skills. Good interpersonal and time management skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary health care team.
