An opportunity waits for a **Personal Care Worker - Medication**reporting to Director of Nursing. The position is Full time availability with flexible days and is responsible for Medication Administration.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Medication Administration
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff of the organisation
- Participates in the development and evaluation of care plans to improve resident's care in
consultation with residents and their representatives.
- Work closely with RN and be able to report changes in Resident Health conditions
- Maintain and update Resident Record
- To assist with daily activities of the Residents
- To maintain up to date knowledge on AN-ACC, accreditation process, new practices, and
procedures
- Be able to liaise with third party providers including medical officers, dentists, podiatrist
etc.
- Have an excellent communication skill and have high level of documentation.

**Successful applicants will demonstrate**:

- Attained Certificate IV in Aged Care
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in Administrating Medication
- Strong attention to detail
- Possess computer skills
- Skills and knowledge required to complete a Care Plan documentation
- Excellent time management skills
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards

- Current National Criminal History Record

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
