Personal Care Worker (Residential Aged Care)

Our group administrates five residential aged care facilities across the Sydney metropolitan area.

We are calling for energetic Personal Care Worker to join our vibrant care team at our 90-bed Aged Care Facility Alkira Gardens in Miranda.

Shifts available: various shifts

Current Police Check is required

Previous experience in a residential aged care setting

Previous medication administration competency and experience is a big plus

Good customer service and communication skills

Demonstrated good oral and written English skills

Digital literacy skills such as using mobile devices and web applications is a must

What can I earn as a Personal Care Worker

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality personal care and assistance to residents in a residential aged care facility.
  • Support residents with daily living activities, mobility, and daily routines.
  • Collaborate with care team to develop and implement individual care plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of resident care and issues.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience in a residential aged care setting.
  • Medication administration competency and experience is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong English language skills (oral and written).
  • Digital literacy, including use of mobile devices and web applications.
  • Ability to pass a current Police Check (National Police Certificate).
  • Right to work in Australia.
