Job Overview
This role requires a high level of expertise in IP transit infrastructure management, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency at scale.
Operate and scale IP transit and peering infrastructure to meet business needs
Optimize BGP policies for performance, cost, and route control
Tune inbound/outbound paths using local-pref, AS-path, MED, and communities
Automate configuration and monitoring workflows (Python/Ansible)
Enforce routing security measures (RPKI, IRR, prefix limits)
Own operational processes, tooling, and documentation
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IP transit/carrier-grade routing environments
Deep understanding of BGP protocols (transit + peering)
Experience with Edgecore, Fortinet, or similar platforms
ISP or MSP background preferred
Relevant certifications (JNCIP, CCNP/SP, NSE) highly regarded
