Job Overview

This role demands expertise in managing large-scale IP transit infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and scale IP transit and peering infrastructure to meet business objectives
  • Optimize BGP policies for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and route control
  • Tune inbound/outbound paths using local-pref, AS-path, MED, and communities
  • Automate configuration and monitoring workflows using Python and Ansible
  • Implement routing security measures including RPKI, IRR, and prefix limits
  • Own operational processes, tooling, and documentation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in IP transit/carrier-grade routing environments
  • Deep understanding of BGP protocols (transit + peering)
  • Experience with Edgecore, Fortinet, or similar platforms
  • ISP or MSP background preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as JNCIP, CCNP/SP, NSE highly regarded
