**About the role**:
Due to continued growth across NOVIS, we are looking to employ an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our Purchasing & Inventory Department.

This is a fast-paced role with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail required. Some of your key responsibilities and day to day accountabilities include:

- Forecasting company stock requirements in line with category and business strategies - local
- Management of the end to end purchasing process including but not limited to PO keying, PO distribution, confirmations and ETA follow up, invoice reconciliation and PO close out
- Report preparation and data analysis in line with department reporting schedule
- Management of database master data for accuracy and validity
- Support in management of company inventory levels and stock movements
- Assist in identifying procedural improvements which deliver improved operational cost and performance, including freight and purchasing arrangements
- Relationship management with internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting sales and customer service departments to support customer stock needs

**Skills / Attributes / Experience**:

- 1-2 years' experience in a similar role
- Encompass a strong, customer centric focus
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Experience working in a fast paced yet fun environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Motivated self-starter with a desire to learn and develop
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Possess mid-level to high capability in MS Office Suite particularly MS Excel.
- SAP experience highly desirable and/or experience with a similar ERP
- An ability to work within multiple databases is desirable but not essential
