We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) Coordinator to join our team in Kwinana.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement SHE policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local and national regulations
- Identify and evaluate potential hazards and risks, and develop measures to mitigate them
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments
- Provide training and coaching to employees on SHE best practices and requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to SHE activities
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure SHE compliance and continuous improvement
- Monitor and report on SHE performance metrics
**Requirements**:
- Understanding and exposure of a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of Australian SHE regulations and standards
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SHE software tools
- An ability and willingness to get in amongst it all, challenge the status quo and call things out
