Today, Arrow owns and operates Braemar 2, a 450-megawatt gas-fired power station south-west of Dalby and is developing the Surat Gas Project in western Queensland. Sanctioned in 2020, the Surat Gas Project's first phase comprises more than 600 coal seam gas wells and will bring 5 trillion cubic feet of gas to market over 27 years.

To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Risk, Compliance & Assurance Advisor to join our team.

**The Role**

Reporting to the General Counsel, this position will provide support to Arrow's risk, compliance and assurance team in various aspects of risk and compliance management and assurance activities.

This is a Brisbane based position and may require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.

**In addition you will**:

- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow's values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
- Assist Arrow people to identify and manage risks, comply with regulatory obligations and/or take action in response to assurance findings.
- Assist with reporting, the delivery of training and the execution of various investigations and audit activities
- Support the development, maintenance and implementation of Arrow's enterprise risk, compliance and assurance frameworks.
- Facilitate the development and maintenance of Arrow's risk register, obligations register, assurance action register and other governance data.
- Support risk management activities including the facilitation of risk assessments at Arrow's field operations.

**About You**

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

- Bachelor's Degree in finance, commerce, business, engineering or law.
- Relevant experience in supporting a risk and/ or compliance function.
- Experience working in energy and resources, major project development or heavy industry
- Demonstrated understanding of the risk and compliance issues associated with coal seam gas development or operations or readily transferrable knowledge
- Self motivated, high initiative and adaptability.
- Dedicated team player with ability to multi task.
- Well organised with attention to detail.
- Professional presentation and manner at all times.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
