Your primary responsibility will be supporting projects pursuing IS ratings, working closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to shape future-ready solutions.
The Opportunity
Support the delivery of Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) ratings across transport, energy, and water projects.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sustainability throughout all project stages.
Author and review technical reports on topics like circular economy, carbon, water, and social impact.
Represent Arup in external meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and support the development of junior team members.

Is this role right for you?
A degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in infrastructure sustainability consulting, with IS rating scheme knowledge essential.
Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
Understanding of decarbonisation policy, climate risk assessment, and sustainability legislation in Queensland and Australia.
A collaborative mindset with proactive problem-solving and team leadership skills.
