Job Opportunity: Lead Clinical Operations
We are seeking an experienced medical professional to lead clinical operations of a remote community medical facility.
This role involves direct patient care, medical oversight, coordination of referrals and evacuations, and ensuring delivery of safe, high-quality healthcare aligned with global and local health frameworks.
The Role's Key Responsibilities:
Represent Medical Services with the Health Service Manager to Clients, External Stakeholders, and Community Members.
Provide Clinical and Strategic leadership to Medical Services of the Medical Centre, Mine Site Clinic, and Camp Site Clinic.
Direct supervision of Medical Doctors, Intensive Care Paramedic, and Heads of Department (Radiology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Disease Control, and Lab).
Undertake clinical responsibilities in the hospital by being actively involved in patient care.
Coordinate Medical Emergencies, Medical Referrals, and Medical Evacuations according to Standard Operating procedures and MERP.
Requirements for Success:
Medical degree and current, unrestricted license to practise.
Minimum ten years of experience in trauma/emergency, occupational health, family medicine, and minimum 5 years leadership or management roles.
Leadership experience in a medical setting, including remote or resource-limited environments.
Ability to work under pressure and provide clinical guidance in complex cases.
