**About The Team**:
The Finance team is at the forefront of decision-making when it comes to new investments and product launches at Uber. We sit at the center of the business, partnering with leadership to support our strategy of making life easier for our millions of users. We need to understand every area of the business and how it rolls into the P&L. We **#SeeTheForestAndTheTrees** by knowing the details that matter.

**About The Role**:
This role is part of the Eats Strategic Finance team for Australia and New Zealand. You will be partnering across Sales, Operations, Strategy & Planning, APAC/Global Finance & Accounting, and other cross-functional collaborators to budget, forecast, optimize, and track our financial and operational goals.

You will also be driving strategic analysis and insights to influence and aid business leaders in key decision making for the ANZ business

**Your Impact in Role**:

- Financial modeling - Ability to build models from scratch, improve existing models, and capture complex business reality/dynamics and interactions into comprehensive models and leverage those to assess trade-offs, propose solutions and drive better decision making
- Monthly close - Report and analyze variances between actuals, forecast, and plan - use insights to iterate on forecasts and create/discuss potential action plans with cross-functional collaborators
- Process improvement - Look to improve existing finance processes including budgeting models, submission templates, reduce friction on cadence / review slides.

**The Experience You'll Bring**:

- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
- Demonstrated experience in Tier 1 accounting firms or operational FP&A at either a high-growth company or a large, well-established organisation
- Outstanding Excel skills: Best practices are second-nature, your models are efficient, scalable and intuitive
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
