Waxflower is looking to hire a new Manager for our Front of House. This is a single full-time permanent position.
- Leading a committed and talented team
- Managing our natural wine list and wine supplier relationships
- Overseeing an efficient FOH operation that delivers a relaxed but high level of customer service

Waxflower is a wine bar with a heavy focus on music and atmosphere with DJs playing 5 nights a week. We pair a carefully sourced dining menu with an exciting wine list populated by some of the world's best natural wine producers.

We're also looking to expand events in our new atrium space. The atrium houses a second bar and seating area for private dining and events and will allow the business to serve up to 150 people.

We are seeking a team leader who is organised, confident, and capable of delivering a smooth customer experience.

We are looking for someone to grow with the business and would like to offer a pathway to advancing skills paired with long-term security and tangible rewards.

**Responsibilities**:

- FOH management
- Maintaining wine supplier relationships and wine purchasing
- Management of event planning and logistics
- Coordination of staffing and rostering
- Communicate with the kitchen to ensure the tailoring of the menu and drinks according to customer expectations
- Supervising FOH and working the floor
- Working closely with Directors to discuss and implement new strategies

**Requirements**:

- Experience in hospitality and preferably within leadership roles - but we are open to those seeking to advance their position after sufficient time in the industry
- Strong passion and knowledge of wine is a must (WSET qualifications desired)
- A relaxed, friendly, professional, and confident attitude
- Outgoing, personable, and team-oriented
- Good people management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Must have full Australian work rights
- Able to work a consistent set of hours, including weekend work
