Gas Filler Operator

OneGas Australia sell and distribute Industrial Gas Cylinders to both regional & metro Western Australia.

We are looking for an experienced gas filler, working Monday to Friday. The role will also include some picking, loading and delivering of gas cylinders.

Responsibilities & Skills
- Controlling Operations: Operating and monitoring control panels and equipment to regulate temperature, pressure, flow rates, and other variables in the gas production and mixing process.
- Monitoring Equipment: Regularly inspecting and monitoring plant machinery and equipment to ensure it is operating safely and efficiently. This includes compressors, purifiers, distillation columns, and storage tanks.
- Process and Quality Control: Taking samples and performing routine tests to ensure the purity and quality of the gases meet specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and responding to operational problems and emergencies, such as equipment malfunctions or leaks.
- Maintenance: Performing minor maintenance on equipment and reporting any major issues to maintenance staff.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate logs and records of production data, equipment performance, and safety checks.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures, particularly when handling hazardous materials and high-pressure systems.
- Loading and Unloading: Overseeing the filling of gas into cylinders and bulk tankers for distribution.
- Forklift Licence
- Driving Licence
