Westera Partners is a highly respected Civil, Structural and Environmental engineering consultancy firm with bases in Southport, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Northern New South Wales. We are locally owned and operated, independently accredited and boast an interesting portfolio of projects.
Due to our ongoing sustainable growth, we are seeking a mature, capable and friendly full-time Receptionist / Administration Officer to join us in our head office in Southport.
The Role
This is a varied support role reporting to the Finance & Administration Manager. You will work as part of a team providing close support to our Managing Director, Partners, HR, Engineering Colleagues and our valued Clients.
As the first point of contact for the business, you will have a primary focus on answering all inbound telephone calls, responding to client enquiries, and greeting our staff and guests. You will support the business through calendar management including booking site inspections for engineers across our four regional offices, accurate data entry into various programs such as Excel & MYOB, performing end-of-month processes, and a number of ad-hoc administrative tasks that support our Engineering Team.
The hours of the role are 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
About You
To be successful in this role you will need a minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in a client facing (telephone and face-to-face) administration role utilising the Microsoft Office suite of software programs. You will require proficiency in Excel, Teams and Outlook and exposure to MYOB or similar accounting packages. Though not essential, experience in the construction industry is highly regarded.
You should have a welcoming and confident phone manner, exceptional customer service, advanced organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. A warm and personable approach will complement your advanced communication skills to see you thrive in this role.
