About the Role

Are you an experienced Data Specialist searching for a rewarding pathway that will allow you to give back to community?

As a key member of the ATSICHS Brisbane team, you are expected to personally contribute to the shaping and achievement of ATSICHS vision and goals within your own scope. You will lead the development and implementation of data and analytics related technologies in line with the Data Science Roadmap and the ATSICHS Strategic Plan. Congruent with the ATSICHS Strategic Plan and Data Science Strategic Roadmap, you will contribute to the organisation by performing data development including data warehouse and data lake development initiatives, ETL development and maintenance, and data modelling across all areas of the organisation. You will also provide effective leadership, guidance, and support to staff to ensure a flourishing workplace culture that promotes the ethos and values of ATSICHS Brisbane as a long-standing Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation.

Duties

Directly Contribute to the success of the Data Science Strategic Roadmap
Coordinate multiple projects and activities against deadlines and aim to ensure that project outcomes meet or exceed the expectations while remaining cost effective
Comply with ATSICHS policy and procedure in addition to other legislation, guidelines and regulation

**Skills and Experiences**:
COVID-19 Requirements
- A medical certificate signed by a medical practitioner stating you have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccination
- Your immunisation history as listed on the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) that clearly shows at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccination details
- Your exemption as listed on the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) may be submitted.

Required

Bachelor qualification in Information Technology/Data Science/Business or relevant experience.
Minimum three (3) years' experience in a similar data specialist role
Demonstrated experience in leading data development initiatives
Experience working in a Microsoft environment including Azure, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Data Studio, Microsoft 365 and data warehousing
SQL / Python proficiency (at least one and willing to learn others)
Experience developing and working with Kimball and Star Schemas
Demonstrated experience in managing projects
Decisive listening, influencing and persuasive skills.
Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
Working with Children's Card (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply
