Overview
As part of a newly established team within Technology, the Test Lead is responsible for ensuring quality and reliability of technology solutions by leading the planning, design, execution and management of comprehensive testing activities.
This role also focuses on analysing requirement specifications to verify that technology solutions align with business needs and perform as expected through detailed methodical testing practices.
In addition, this role will contribute to the growth and maturity of the company's testing and quality assurance capabilities by supporting the creation of standards, tools, and methodologies that drive consistency and best practices across projects and teams.
Key Accountabilities
Develop detailed test plans outlining scope, approach, resources and schedules
Review and analyse functional and non-functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to develop clear, traceable test cases that align with business objectives
Develop detailed test scripts, including clear step-by-step instructions and expected outcomes to ensure consistent and repeatable test execution
Manage the end-to-end execution of testing activities across various cycles including functional, non-functional, integration, system and user acceptance testing
Record and analyse testing activities performed and results
Identify, log, track and manage defects ensuring clear documentation and timely resolution through collaboration with development teams, business representatives and project teams
Provide reports on progress, anomalies, risks and issues associated with testing activities and the overall project
Provide reports on system quality and collection of metrics to establish performance baselines
Engage and maintain strong, ongoing communication with all stakeholders to align on project goals, priorities and outcomes
Work closely with project managers, cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions
Develop and champion testing and quality assurance standards, tools and methodologies to drive consistency, quality and best practice across the organisation
Maintain detailed documentation of project deliverables, testing procedures and artifacts
Support project activities, change management and training efforts to drive adoption and smooth transition
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will haveprevious experience working in Operational Technologywithin a critical infrastructure environment.
Requirements
Must have full working rights for Australia and be available to work in Sydney if selected.

Salary: $160,000 REM + 10% Bonus
