About us
Funds in Court (FIC) is a self-funded division of the Supreme Court of Victoria that manages funds paid into the Court, primarily for people with a legal disability (beneficiaries). All funds are held, invested, and administered by the Associate Judge of the Court, the Senior Master. FIC provides support and services for over 6,000 beneficiaries.
As the Human Resources (HR) Coordinator, you will be responsible for the provision of accurate, timely, and responsive support to the Senior HR Advisor, managers, and employees.
About the role
With a workforce of approximately 95 staff, you will provide HR support for the office. It is a dynamic role perfect for an enthusiastic individual looking for generalist HR experience. The main purpose of the role is to coordinate the following areas: HR Administration, Health and Well-Being, Occupational Health and Safety, Payroll, Recruitment, and Learning and Development.
With a keen eye for detail and a high level of energy and initiative, yours is a critical role in the smooth operation of the FIC team. Your ability to build strong relationships across FIC and your willingness to tackle whatever comes your way will set you up for success.
About you
Key Responsiblities
- Manage a range of HR administrative processes and reporting including onboarding, offboarding and the induction program.
- Provide high-quality advice on a range of HR-related issues.
- Assist with HR initiatives such as performance reviews, employee recognition programs, and policy and procedure reviews.
- Co-ordinate training and development requirements.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and assist with the implementation of relevant programs and initiatives.
- Co-ordinate end-to-end recruitment processes.
**To be considered, you should have**:
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar role.
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management is highly desirable.
- Well-developed administrative skills including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
- A friendly and professional manner.
- A common-sense approach to problem-solving.
