The **Manager, Infrastructure Platforms & Operations** is responsible for leading a team of IT professionals in the development, maintenance and support of cost-effective and reliable IT Infrastructure services at WINC.
**In this role you will be responsible for**:
- Manage and lead the team to deliver a reliable and cost-efficient Cloud and Infrastructure service in line with the agreed KPIs
- Provide a reliable IT infrastructure platform which meets the business SLAs
- Manage the monitoring, maintenance, upgrade and administration of all IT infrastructure systems
- Work with the Head of Infrastructure & Operations to ensure an effective disaster recovery approach is in place
- Work with the Head of Infrastructure & Operations to ensure that IT assets are managed effectively throughout their life-cycle
- Work with the Head of Infrastructure & Operations to optimise the operational and capital expenditures to achieve a lowest total cost of ownership/operation for hardware, software and services for a targeted service level
- Work with the Head of Infrastructure & Operations to develop IT business cases and support and deliver IT initiatives for tactical and strategic IT improvements
- Execute the minor and major incident, service and change management process to ensure an optimal delivery of IT services
- Mentor your team for individual development, engage all onshore and offshore team members, set and monitor priorities and KPIs
- Collaborate with key business owners and technology managers to identify their IT infrastructure needs and develop a roadmap for their implementation
- Work with the Head of Infrastructure & Operations to implement new approaches to increase reliability and flexibility, and to lower costs of the IT infrastructure platform by optimising the current platform, adopting new technologies and utilising effective vendor services
- Maintain relationships with relevant technology partners providing IT infrastructure and operations related services
- Leverage partners to provide innovation into the business
**Skills & Experience Required**:
- Experience in IT infrastructure design and operations including servers, storage, databases, networks, communications, printing, security, end-user device management
- Experience in IT operations including service desk management, problem and incident management, change management
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT management role
- High level of service orientation
- High attention to detail, accuracy and consistency
- Knowledge of ITIL methodology
- Experience with common management tools and infrastructure technologies
- Advanced skills in problem identification and resolution management
