Overview
Registered Nurse/Child and Family Health Nurse role at Ramsay Health Care. The Child and Family Health Nurse (CFHN) provides family-centred, culturally safe, and developmentally appropriate care to families with children (0–2 years) within a residential early parenting unit. This role involves comprehensive assessment, intervention, health promotion, and education to support parents in achieving optimal child health, development, and family functioning. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Responsibilities
Provide family-centred, culturally safe and developmentally appropriate care to families with children (0–2 years) in a residential early parenting unit.
Conduct comprehensive assessments, plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate care delivery needs of patients.
Deliver health promotion, education and support to parents to achieve optimal child health and family functioning.
Collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager, Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications and Skills
Relevant registration with AHPRA as Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
Minimum two (2) years in a hospital-based postgraduate role.
Previous experience in Child and Family Nursing or working toward it.
Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs; strong customer service and time management.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain positive working relationships; capable of working in a team and independently as required.
Ability to work a flexible rotating roster.
Remuneration
Base hourly rate ranging from $37.75 - $53.02 + superannuation based on experience and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. ( NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8 )

Requirements
Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
