Principal Recruitment Consultant

This is a senior-level position within the business and reports directly to the General Manager. As the business continues its current growth trajectory across our NSW region, we are looking to expand our STEM temp recruitment team, with the addition of a senior-level consultant. In this role, you will be partnering with white-collar clients providing temporary recruitment solutions for Scientific roles such as Lab Technicians, Quality Coordinators, Regulatory Professionals, Scientific Officers, Environmental Consultants, Territory Managers, Clinical Coders, and Research and Development. This is a lucrative and warm desk, and you will have the ability to hit the ground running and achieve strong commission payments.

**The Role - Principal Consultant**

You will join a team of experienced and energetic consultants who love what they do. In addition to a highly competitive salary, PERSOLKELLY consultants enjoy an individual quarterly bonus plan as well as a national quarterly award plan with some fantastic incentives.

**What you will be doing**:

- You will be responsible for numerous existing client accounts, through building and retaining relationships.
- Developing a business strategy to target SMC's new key clients.
- Meet with clients to plan recruitment requirements and take any job specifications.
- Negotiate job offers.
- Work collaboratively with the entire team, with proactive contributions to team marketing and training.

**About you**:
Ideally, experience working within a recruitment environment or at least 5 years experience in a life sciences industry.
- Experience working in a high-performance/pressured environment.
- Previous experience working with multiple clients and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to be versatile with conflicting priorities.
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a competitive drive to meet and exceed targets.
- This is a fast-paced desk and requires someone that is motivated and takes initiative.
- Must have driver's license and own vehicle.
