**About the Role**

This role will assist young people with a learner's permit to practice their driving in order to achieve their 'Log Book' hours. Such supervision and instruction will not involve the formal teaching of learner drivers. Instead this supervision and instruction is intended to compliment formal driving lessons provided by a qualified Driving Instructor.

**This role is being offered on a full time, ongoing basis and will be based across the Southwest region. Base location - Bunbury.**

**About You**

To be successful in the role you will be able to:

- Demonstrate knowledge of WHS workplace requirements and experience implementing WHS policies, systems and processes in a work setting;
- Demonstrate your ability to use the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and ability to type (minimum 30 words per minute);
- Demonstrate high level of interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective relationships with a diverse range of participants, particularly young people; and
- Demonstrate good knowledge of the region and townships and experience driving in this area.

You will also be required to:

- Must be an accredited Driving Instructor or willing to obtain;
- Current Working with Children's Check or ability to obtain;
- Undergo a National Criminal History Check; and
- Hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate or a willingness to obtain one.

**Remuneration**

A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
