About the Role
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sample Management**: Unpack, check, and accurately log samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), ensuring all information is recorded correctly.
**Logistics & Supply Management**: Prepare and manage sample containers and project supply orders to ensure laboratory efficiency.
**Lab Coordination**: Work closely with laboratory staff to prioritise and promptly pass on urgent samples.
**Quality & Compliance**: Complete all Quality Control records in accordance with the Quality System.
**Workplace Safety & Waste Disposal**: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper disposal of sample waste (e.g., soil jars, water bottles, metals waste, solvent waste).
**Skills and Experiences**:

Science qualification and background (Cert IV or Diploma)
Passion for Science
Fun and positive attitude
High attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work in a team environment and also individually motivated
Can meet tight deadlines & work under pressure
