To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Hydrocarbon Accounting Analyst to join our team.

**The Role**

**Reporting to the WRFM Manager**, the Hydrocarbon Accounting Analyst will use an in depth understanding of the production system, data and forecasts, and equipment specifications to deliver validated and allocated production data, deferment classifications, emissions management and refocillated production reports to drive optimisation of water and gas production.

This is a Brisbane based position which may require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.

**In addition you will**:

- Responsible for the collating, organising, and publishing of validated and allocated production data to track production performance in order to meet production targets
- Validate and ensure deferment coding is accurate for the well field and facilities
- Complete initial deferment analysis on a regular frequency for anomalies found in the data.
- Ensure that all collated production data is accurate and published in time to meet targets
- Responsible for the daily allocated Production Records and Information Management
- Manage facility schedule maintenance deferment and tracking against actuals
- Manage the deliverable data reporting obligations to internal and external shareholders and regulatory groups
- Maintain accurate gas and water production data records and commentary for variances
- Superuser of EnergySys, Hexagon J5 and OSIsoft PI.

**About You**

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.

**To be successful in the role, you will have**:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any Engineering discipline or Numerical Science
- Extensive experience in oil/gas production and operations
- Proven skills in estimate deferment activities and estimate production availability
- Ability to collect and evaluate field data
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge and use of Production
- Allocation and deferment software; i.e. EnergySys, SCADA, Honeywell systems, Power BI, WellView and Microsoft Office skills
- Strong understanding of CSG reserve estimates for modelling existing facilities to ensure effective reservoir depletion and recovery
