Job Title:

Sustainability and Hydrocarbon Strategy Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our sustainability and hydrocarbon strategy team. As a Sustainability and Hydrocarbon Strategy Leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental sustainability and emissions reduction strategies within our Integrated Gas business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability and emissions reduction strategies to meet regulatory and business objectives.
  • Lead a high-performing team of professionals in the development and implementation of sustainability and emissions reduction initiatives.
  • Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to inform business decisions and drive performance improvement.
  • Champion transformation, compliance, and assurance across the Hydrocarbon Accounting framework.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and embed change.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary level education in an Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or Commercial field.
  • Leadership and stakeholder management skills, including ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams to achieve whole of business outcomes.
  • Ability to work in a diverse cultural team environment; be able to work unsupervised; accept responsibility and act on directives.
  • High level of interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to interface with internal and external parties as required.
  • Excellent skills in multi-tasking, prioritization, and time management with the ability to manage numerous tasks at any one time in a demanding environment.
  • Self-motivated, passionate, highly efficient, proactive, and professional with a respect for confidentiality.
  • Significant experience in program management.
  • Strategic thinker with knowledge of national and global trends in carbon and emission management and best practices.
  • Experience in upstream gas and/or LNG production.
  • A commitment to strong governance and compliance.
  • Ability to develop robust business cases and articulate solutions.
