**The Company**

An immediate, full time, 12-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity has arisen for a Junior Accounts Payable Officer to work with a successful and market leading retail/wholesale FMCG business based in the Southeast. A household name, the company's continued growth has been attributed by its continual investment into expanding store networks nationally.

**The Role**

Joining a large Accounts Payable team and reporting directly to the AP Team Leader, your primary duties will comprise of:

- Matching, batching and coding invoices to Purchase Orders - 3 way match (high volume)
- Manually Coding invoices to General Ledger/Cost centre
- Data entry
- Chargeback invoice processing
- Managing credit claims/rebate processing
- Support the month end process by providing supporting documentation for month end journals
- Ensuring agreed supplier terms with payments are respected
- Perform reconciliations including supplier statement reconciliations, credit card reconciliations
- Managing AP queries
