We are seeking an individual who thrives in a challenging environment, with a proven ability to manage and develop a unique team. In this role, you will display professionalism to complement your technical abilities and maintain a positive attitude while performing under pressure. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising staff and laboratory operations
- Ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic testing
- Specimen storage, retrieval, and handling
- Equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Maintaining records and stock control
- Promoting and adhering to workplace health and safety protocols
- Upholding customer confidentiality

**About you**
To be considered for this position, you will need the following key qualifications and skills:
- Minimum 2 years' pathology experience
- Previous supervisory experience (preferred but not essential)
- Proven high level of interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail
- Ability to work as a team member to achieve organisational goals
- High levels of initiative and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Ability to participate in a rotating roster
- Willingness to coach and develop staff
