Design, develop, and implement APIs ensuring reusability, reliability, scalability, and security.Write clean, maintainable code for integration components.Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.Conduct code reviews and implement testing strategies (unit, integration, regression).
Monitor and optimise performance for scalability and efficiency.Maintain documentation (technical specifications, deployment procedures, API endpoints).
Support DevOps practices in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Contribute to architectural decisions and input on cloud strategy and interoperability.Ensure compliance with Australian Government security frameworks (ISM, PSPF).
Support change management and release coordination for smooth deployments.Monitor and troubleshoot workflows to ensure performance and data integrity.Selection CriteriaIndividual responses required for each criterion (max 3000 characters each)Essential CriteriaProven experience as a software developer, with skills in C#, .
NET Core, SQL, and Azure integration services (Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, Event Grid, APIM).
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, authentication (OAuth, OpenID, JWT), microservices, data transformation, and interoperability standards (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, gRPC, GraphQL).
Familiarity with databases, data structures, integration patterns, and API testing tools.Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in cross-functional teams.Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders (legal, policy, technical, operational).
