Enterprise Integration Specialist

As a crucial member of our team, the Enterprise Integration Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless integration solutions across diverse enterprise applications.
This role involves designing and developing efficient, scalable, and secure integration solutions and APIs that connect our systems, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to support these systems through testing, quality assurance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with System Analysts, Data Engineers, and stakeholders to design and develop integration solutions that meet business requirements and technical constraints, leveraging Microsoft Azure tools like App Services, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus.
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality APIs, ensuring reusability, reliability, scalability, and security. Effectively manage API versions to ensure backward compatibility and smooth transitions between versions.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for integration components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and plan comprehensive testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing, to verify the reliability, accuracy, and performance of integration solutions.
- Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize for speed, scalability, and efficiency.
- Maintain detailed documentation of solutions, including technical specifications and deployment procedures. Document API endpoints, authentication methods, and usage examples to facilitate ease of use for internal and external developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system analysts, integration testers, and other stakeholders to align DevOps practices with project goals and timelines, fostering a culture of collaboration.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and provide input on cloud strategy, scalability, and interoperability.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Government security frameworks.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, integration patterns, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to enhance and optimize existing integration processes.
- Support change management and release coordination, ensuring integration components are deployed smoothly across environments.
- Proven expertise in designing and developing integration solutions using Microsoft Azure tools.
- Strong understanding of API development, security, and management.
- Experience with code review processes and testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
