What you'll do
Lead, mentor and grow a team of digital content producers and developers to develop and deliver innovative digital solutions that enhance health outcomes for Queensland health system consumers.
Provide specialist authoritative advice to Deputy Directors-General and senior departmental management on digital delivery, including technical content development advice.
Provide effective leadership in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating the transformation of Queensland Health website properties, consistent with the strategic priorities of the department and branch.
Actively develop and manage frameworks, systems, and processes to ensure the efficient and effective operation of Queensland Health's digital channels, associated user behaviour and engagement.
Lead digital transformation activities, including overseeing the digital transformation roadmap, vendor procurement processes, and departmental and whole-of-government reporting.
Lead governance and engagement activity, including chairing a variety of oversight committees and communities of practice.
Develop and maintain relationships with senior management across Queensland Health, including HHSs, other Queensland Government agencies, key stakeholders across the health sector and digital agencies across the government sector.
Provide strategic leadership and advice during health-related crisis or emergency situations and actively contribute to whole-of-Government crisis response communications.

Proven ability to provide effective leadership in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating a contemporary web-focussed program, ensuring all output is aligned to strategic priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work in partnership and build influential and productive relationships across organisational and sector boundaries, particularly in a time of crisis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in a online services and/or project management context, in a high-pressure environment.
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills within a communications or online environment, including the ability to effectively coach and mentor staff.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and contribute to the positive culture of a team with a track record of maintaining a customer service mentality and supporting all colleagues to succeed.
