**Description**

An opportunity has become available for a **Medical Receptionist** to join our friendly, supportive and experienced team at **Campaspe Family Practice**on a** Casual**basis**.**

We are a busy practice, located in the heart of Kyneton within the Macedon Ranges, and pride ourselves on offering our patients a range of specialised services close to home.

**Daily tasks and responsibilities will include**:

- Excellent customer service - you will be the first point of contact for our patients, in person and on the phone
- Maintaining confidentiality while managing patient records
- Processing payments, Medicare, and third-party claims and reconciliations
- Effective management of patient appointment types
- General administration and daily office duties
- Duties as required by Doctors and the Practice Manager

**To be successful in this role, you will**:

- Highly motivated with a sound background in customer service.
- Proficient computer skills are essential with knowledge of medical software including Best Practice being desirable
- Professional, friendly, confident, and courteous manner
- Flexibility with work hours - the ability to work rotating Saturdays is required
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritise
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a diverse team and independently
- High level attention to detail
- Enthusiasm, willingness, and ability to learn and retain information
