**About the role**:
Source, negotiate, trade, review, design, communicate we are looking for an experienced Buyer with passion and skill for developing a comprehensive and inspiring merchandise range within our growing and successful Technology portfolio.

Driving the merchandise strategy and buying process for Computer Accessories and Digital Storage, this creative commercial opportunity is integral in sourcing, developing, and ranging merchandise reflecting our three pillars of Low Prices, Widest Range and Great Service.

In addition to the development and implementation of key strategies and financial and inventory management targets, this role will coach, develop, and mentor a Buyers Assistant.

**About you**:
As an experienced retail buyer, with a history of working in consumer goods and trend-based roles, you enjoy building and establishing strong relationships across business functions and all key stakeholders. Your passion for technology and product lifecycle management experience will enable you to interpret and act the latest trends.

Your ability to influence, negotiate and present, sees you achieve strong commercial outcomes while clearly communicating with all key stakeholders. You enjoy innovating, have a keen eye on customer driven trends, and a customer centric mindset. You use your commercial acumen and analytical capability to effectively trade the business with a focus on continuous improvement.

As a mentor and coach, you are a supportive leader, encouraging and empowering your team to engage their skills to full potential.

- Passionate about Technology Products
- Strong communicator and negotiator who can influence and present
- International and local sourcing experience
- A history of working in FMCG portfolios
- Well-developed financial/commercial acumen with an established understanding of merchandise financial KPI's
- Balance of entrepreneurial flair and analytical & planning capability
- Team player who is self-motivated and success-oriented
- Tertiary study in Business or Commerce would be an advantage
