**About the Role**
- Warners Bay Private Hospital is seeking an innovative Team Leader with a strong team focus to assist in the day-to-day coordination of our Consulting Room - Administration Team.
- Our administration team provides clerical support to the outpatient clinics and are often the first point of contact for our patients, their families and contractors.

Duties and responsibilities involve, but are not limited to:

- Whilst working on-shift, leading a team of administrators to ensure departmental tasks are achieved in an effective and efficient manner
- Maintaining relations with all internal and external customers and continually provide service enhancements to meet customer expectations; and
- Assisting with the coordination of clerical and human resource functions of administration staff across our department.
- Provide guidance, support and training for the team

**About You**
- To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong administrative skill set and have demonstrated experience in the health care industry.
- You will be a proactive professional with a high level of attention to detail and be a clear and effective communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- You will be a leader who will enjoys providing support and training for employees, will have a thorough working knowledge of all hospital front office functions with advanced computer skills.

**Essential**:

- Effective communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Exceptional customer service skills and commitment to meet both internal and external customer expectations and requirements
- Proven organisational skills and a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience in a hospital setting and familiarity with Health Funds
- Demonstrate superior problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with patient management systems is essential.
- Advanced computer skills using MS Office

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience in Project Implementation
- Previous experience in a supervisory role
- Management or Training certificate
- Previous experience in designing and developing Policy and /or Training Manuals
