**About the Company**

I'm representing a worldwide developer and owner of renewable energy assets, with an impressive portfolio already in operation within Australia. They have an excellent financial backing, and a realistic / achievable target of operational projects within the next 5 years.

**About the Role**

You will be responsible for driving, managing and implementing permitting/approval obligations to ensure compliance for wind and solar farm projects in different phases (development, pre-construction, construction and operational).

**Key Responsibilities**
- Undertake and manage the compliance requirements for projects (EPBC, permit/approval, management plans, environment regulations etc)
- Provide advice on environmental and planning related issues
- Undertake site audits during construction and operational phases
- Management of environmental issues as they emerge with the appropriate internal or external stakeholders
- Ability to read through environmental plans and take necessary actions
- Assist the development team in identifying and permitting new project sites

**Skills, Experience & Qualifications**
- Relevant degree in Environmental (or similar) or equivalent practical experience
- Understanding of Australian environmental obligations
