An exciting opportunity to work within the Crown Maintenance Department in the position of Property Services Officer - Day Shift Upholsterer has become available. In this role, you will be working in a multi skilled position within a small team of electricians and plumbers and will be responsible for ongoing maintenance and repairs of building plant & equipment, Gaming and kitchen equipment, assets and other building infrastructure and assets at Crown.

**Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to**:

- Preventative maintenance on gaming tables and replacing gaming table layouts.
- Furniture repairs-reupholstery across:

- Casino
- Crown Towers, Crown Metropol & Crown Promenade
- Conference Centers across all properties
- Gaming Tables
- Curtains
- Entertainment Venues
- Ability to receive and dispatch furniture at Crown loading dock.
- Being able to work autonomously.
- Basic carpentry skills are preferred.
- Manual handling such as but not limited to pushing and pulling trolleys.
- Competent use of power and hand tools

**To be successful, you will need**:

- Certificate III in Upholstery
- Significant experience in a similar role in a large complex with strong sewing skills.
- Experience in recovery works (re-upholstery)
- The ability to go the extra mile to achieve an outstanding result and service excellence in a high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in providing exceptional Customer Service
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team player.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain a Casino Special Employee License (required Police Check and Credit Check)
