Your expertise and dedication will play a pivotal role in our continued success and be a driving force in our journey towards a water-resilient world.The OpportunityDue to ongoing business growth, we are looking for an excavator operator who has experience excavating around live assets.
Given our vast range of services, there is plenty of variety with the roles and responsibility which include (but not limited to):Operation of excavators ranging from 2.5 to 8 tonneExcavating around water, gas or electrical assetsGeneral labouring including site preparation, onsite support and associated civilsOperating machinery such as skid steer, front end loader & backhoeWe offer a rewarding remuneration package including regular overtime.
Your background may be from one of the following:Pipe maintenance experience such as reactive water main maintenance, pipe laying, plumbing, gas main and water main renewalsNBN or electricalindustries where you have excavated around live assetsOr you might want to break into the industry, if so we'd still like to hear from you
Key Selection Criteria:Valid Drivers LicenceExperience excavating around live assets & operating machineryOHS Construction Induction Card (White card)Have the ability to work on sites across West MelbourneGood work ethic and positive work attitude with the ability to work in a teamA strong focus on safetyHR or MR licence, Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights licences are desirable but not essential.To make sure that you're fully fit to join our team you will also need to pass our pre-employment medical which includes a drug & alcohol test.Our TeamAt Interflow, we are honest, reliable, competent and respectful.
