Excavation Operations Specialist

CASACIR is a leading construction company with over 15 years of experience in building highways, driveways and roads.

Our Neerim North Quarry, Victoria team seeks an experienced Excavation Operations Specialist to join our dynamic and successful team.

Job Description:

The Excavation Operations Specialist will be responsible for operating mobile plant including Front End Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator. Daily quarry operations and regular maintenance of various vehicles, plant and equipment will also be part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate complex mobile plant equipment with precision and efficiency.
  • Conduct daily pre-start checks on plant to ensure optimal performance.
  • Participate in daily toolbox talks to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of CASACIR Quarries WHS policies and procedures.
  • Follow all instructions from Quarry Supervisor.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Extensive experience operating a variety of plant equipment including Front End Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator.
  • A valid driver's license and White Card.
  • Experience working in a quarry environment.
  • Relevant RII tickets (not essential).
  • Excellent problem-solving and initiative-taking skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment (including Drug and Alcohol Testing).
