Responsibilities
Designing and engineering high-performance custom mechanical hoisting solutions that include: motors, hoists, gearboxes, clamps & weighing scales for stage rigging applications
Utilizing CAD software (preferably Inventor) to create detailed and accurate designs
Conducting finite element analysis (FEA) and simulations to optimise designs for performance
Ensuring all designs meet strict safety protocols and standards
About you
Skills
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
Experience in motors, rigging, hoists, gearboxes, motion and lifting mechanisms ideally in the entertainment, industrial or automation sectors
Proven experience in weight calculations, bend force analysis, and CAD/FEA tools
Knowledgeable about safety standards and load cell systems for real-time weight monitoring
A problem-solver with a track record of delivering precision-engineered solutions
