Responsibilities

  • Designing and engineering high-performance custom mechanical hoisting solutions that include: motors, hoists, gearboxes, clamps & weighing scales for stage rigging applications
  • Utilizing CAD software (preferably Inventor) to create detailed and accurate designs
  • Conducting finite element analysis (FEA) and simulations to optimise designs for performance
  • Ensuring all designs meet strict safety protocols and standards

About you

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Experience in motors, rigging, hoists, gearboxes, motion and lifting mechanisms ideally in the entertainment, industrial or automation sectors
  • Proven experience in weight calculations, bend force analysis, and CAD/FEA tools
  • Knowledgeable about safety standards and load cell systems for real-time weight monitoring
  • A problem-solver with a track record of delivering precision-engineered solutions
