This is your opportunity to join a local not-for-profit organisation in Newcastle, NSW and support business units and project teams through an exciting time of transformation.

**Your new role**

Working as part of the IT business engagement team, you will act as a key liaison and strategic partner for both, IT services and the wider business with a focus on stakeholder engagement. You will work with the business to understand requirements and work to align those with IT best practice and the overall IT strategy. You will ensure a seamless collaboration between IT departments and the business, with a focus on streamlining organisational processes to allow the best possible outcomes for the organisation.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven collaboration and engagement skills with both, technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A passion for building partnerships with all levels of a business
- An understanding of technology environments, ideally with previous exposure to project delivery and an ability to advise on IT trends and best practice
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, information technology, or another related field
- Knowledge of relevant project management methodologies
