Prixcar are currently seeking a Driver Trainer to assist in effectively coordinating and training our staff and subcontractors on the correct usage of fleet equipment.

**Some of the responsibilities include**:

- Training and evaluating drivers on equipment usage;
- Record assessment/competency results in training records and provide feedback to line manager as applicable;
- Recommend suitability on type of equipment in line with driver capability including cross training of equipment;
- Conduct annual and ad hoc competency assessments and record results in training records;
- Develop & maintain excellent relationships with line managers and drivers;
- Training/advising on the correct transport and logistics procedures and enforce compliance where necessary;
- Document and report any issue to line managers that requires performance management;
- Carry out prompt and effective follow up from line managers and/or drivers, subcontractors and problem solve issues relating to loads incoming, outgoing and ensure correct loading and load restraint as per legislative requirements and company policy and procedure;
- Deliver induction programme to new drivers and maintain records;
- Check condition of equipment including the monitoring, stock take and ordering of equipment as required;
- Lead and implement recommendations for continuous improvement to work processes and Training & Development;
- Maintain regular contact with counterparts in other states and national office to ensure accuracy and consistency with equipment procedures, load restraints, driver training and development of programmes;
- Assist in transit damage investigations as required by Operations/Driver Managers;
- Involvement with new technology to improve process with equipment and training;
- Provide assistance to Customer Service Manager with Dealership Risk Assessments;
- Undertake Equipment Risk Assessments with the assistance of the HSE co-ordinators;
- Travel to other depots as required.

**You will need to be**:

- Experienced in specialised moves;
- Cert IV qualified in Training & Assessment (TAE40116)
- Confident handling loads of high value;
- An experienced HC driver
- An excellent communicator;
- BFM Certified (TLIF0005 & TLIF0006)

MSIC will be an advantage but not required.
