ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager, APAC & CA, you will work alongside our global Marketing and Product teams as well as Lifecycle, Brand, Digital and Distribution teams. This opportunity will allow you to shape our CMC Markets Product Marketing strategy for Trading across the Asia Pacific & Canadian markets.
You will be an outstanding communicator, cross-functional collaborator and passionate about helping clients understand the value of CMC Market's platforms, products and services.
You will demonstrate a passion for solving customer problems and communicating the value that products deliver to users. You will exhibit excellent analytical and product positioning skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive impact across teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the Product Marketing Manager to assist in the delivery of the CMC Markets product marketing strategy.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute regional product campaigns and initiatives to drive growth and adoption of products and services
- Drive cross-functional alignment with key business units such as Sales, Legal, Compliance and Business Operations in executing streamlined customer-centric product marketing communications.
- Support the in-house creative team in crafting and delivering compelling messaging that makes the complex simple, resonates with customers and builds a point of difference in market.
- Lead market research projects, opportunity assessment, competitive analysis, and customer feedback initiatives
- Identify opportunities to segment clients and deliver highly personalised product-led communications to the right person, at the right time with data-driven insights.
- Collaborate effectively with the Lifecycle, Digital and Brand teams in conducting regular experimentation and testing to assess the effectiveness of our product messaging and optimise campaign performance across channels
- Monitor product/feature performance and provide insights-led reporting and recommendations to optimise Product Marketing campaigns
- Work with the Product Marketing Manager to plan and execute end-to-end GTM launches to successfully take new features, products, and services to market, raise awareness and drive adoption.
- Conduct competitor, market and client research and share insights with key stakeholders.
- Partner with product, sales and marketing teams to drive continued growth, adoption and engagement of our platforms, products, and services.
- Educate the wider marketing team and organisation on best practices go-to-market, product positioning and messaging strategies
- Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the APAC and CA regions.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2-3+ years in a commercial Marketing role (Ideally product marketing or in a digital growth role) or working collaboratively with Product teams
- Experience marketing highly technical and niche products
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business IT, or a related field of study
- Deep understanding of Lifecycle, direct response and brand channels
- Experience with Marketing Analytics and Project Management tools like Google Analytics and JIRA
- Ability to communicate throughout all levels of an organisation
- You are great at stakeholder management with experience building strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Sales, Client Success, and support teams and aligning teams on the same goal.
- You are an excellent storyteller with experience crafting product positioning and sales narratives that distil what really matters to a customer in a meaningful, straightforward way.
- You are versatile and able to adapt your tactics to different geographies, personas and use cases.
- You are highly organised with experience project managing cross-functional programs of work.
