The Database Aministrator and Integration Specialist will be required to:

- Provide specialist advice relating to best practices for MS SQL including HA and clustering.
- Implement and integrate MS SQL Databases in a wide range of use cases
- Provide support and administer MS SQL Databases including analysis of integration points and products.
- Work in a team environment.
- Provide knowledge/skills transfer to other team members.
- Record and maintain files/information in accordance with the Agency's requirements.

Essential criteria:

- At least five years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server design, setup and administration, including SQL High Availability technologies
- Experience with Microsoft BizTalk design, setup and administration
- Proven ability with Microsoft failover clustering technologies design, setup and administration
- Experience with IBM MQ design, setup and administration
- Experience with Enterprise Certificate Authority design, setup and administration
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team and across diverse range of stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
- Self-motivated with an ability to work independently
- Advanced written and oral communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences including excellent active listening skills
- Manage releases using automation, where possible, for maximum efficiency and effectiveness
- Work with internal technical teams to develop their skills in SQL and integration technologies and transfer knowledge
