**Job Overview**

The ICT Database Administrator and Integration Specialist is a key role within our organization, responsible for providing specialist advice on MS SQL best practices, including HA and clustering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and integrate MS SQL databases across various use cases.
  • Offer support and administer MS SQL databases, analyzing integration points and products.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Transfer knowledge and skills to other team members.
  • Maintain accurate records and information according to agency requirements.

Essential Criteria:

  • At least five years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server design, setup, and administration, including SQL High Availability technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft BizTalk design, setup, and administration.
  • Proven ability with Microsoft failover clustering technologies design, setup, and administration.
  • Experience with IBM MQ design, setup, and administration.
  • Experience with Enterprise Certificate Authority design, setup, and administration.
  • Strong collaboration skills, working effectively within small teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Self-motivation, with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with expertise in articulating complex messages to varied audiences.
  • Release management using automation, prioritizing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration with internal technical teams to develop their skills in SQL and integration technologies, transferring knowledge.
